"GUTS AND GLORY" Running clock for the below portion – score is total time for completion. 21 – 15 – 9 Schwinn Bike Calories (15-10-5 Assault, or 80-60-40 DU) Thrusters Directly into… 15 – 12 – 9 Row for Calories Hang Squat Cleans Directly into… 12 – 9 – 6: Barbell Facing Burpees Overhead Squats Rx – 95/65 SATURDAY JANUARY 13, 2018 I ran 5 miles outside. It was 60 degrees in January. It felt soooo refreshing! Then Conor, Chloe and I went to CrossFit Takeoff to do this WOD. CFTO is programming the Bergeron WODS in order to train for the Open. I am doing them as much as possible. EMOM: 10 2 power clean + 1 jerk. I used 95# to work on using my hips. Chloe used 120# and Conor used 155#. "CHAINSMOKER" 5 Rounds, starting every 4:00: 10 CTB Pull-Ups 18 DB Snatches (50/35) 15/12 Calorie Assault Bike If we are using an Airdyne today, complete 21/15 calories. If we do not have access to a bike, complete on the rower for equal calories (15/12). Rounds start on the 0:00, 4:00, 8:00, 12:00, and 16:00. After completing the work inside the round, time remaining before the next interval is rest. Score today will be our *slowest* round of all five. SUNDAY OCTOBER 8, 2017 I ran 6 miles then I did this.... I had the BEST workout on Sunday with my friend Kevin. After the CrossFit Open Competition in February of every year Kevin qualifies for the Masters Qualifier which means he comes in the top 200 out of ages 50-54 (approx 5,000 men). In 2016 Kevin finished in the top 20 and went to the CrossFit Games in Carson, California! Very impressive. Kevin teaches a CrossFit class at CrossFit Marshfield on Sundays. I am definitely going to make it a point of going more often. This is what we did..... Warm Up Skill: Bar Muscle Ups Strength: Clean and Jerk -pause below knee -Pause mid-thigh -stand -high hang squat clean -hang squat clean -low hang squat clean -split jerk Ascend in weight every 2 minutes. I used 95#. then.. -3 pause low hang squat clean + 1 split jerk. I used 95#. WOD: 7 minute AMRAP 10 alternating DB snatches 50/35# 15 push ups 20 DUS I got 4 rounds RX   rest 4 min. Then...
